Overview
Where factory space is at a premium, combined feeder straighteners offer an ideal solution for many production requirements. They are used to uncoil, straighten, and feed metal coil material into manufacturing processes such as stamping, punching, or cutting operations.
Although feeder leveller press feed lines typically operate at slower speeds than conventional press feed lines, they eliminate the need for a looping area between the straightener and roll feed by combining both functions into a single, compact unit.
The standard range of straighteners forms the basis of the feeder leveller and utilises the same servo technology as our roll feeds. The servo motor is fitted with a reduction gearbox, allowing it to provide both effective strip straightening and accurate feeding.
