Decoilers / Coil Holders
Atkin Automation manufactures a wide range of coil holders with capacities ranging from 500kg to 25,000kg, capable of handling strip widths from 50mm up to 2,000mm.
They are available in motorised and non-motorised versions, and in single and double-sided formats.
A full range of complementary equipment is also available, including coil cars, pre-bend and thread-up units, snubbers, and loop controls.

Coil Cars
The coil car is positioned on the front of the coil holder mandrel to load/unload coils. The coil car can also store coils and free the crane to carry out other lifting work.
Atkin Automation offers a wide range of coil cars, coil tippers, and capstans to provide easy, secure manipulation and transfer of coils to the decoiler.

Coil Tippers
A Coil Tipper is a unit designed for changing the orientation of a coil from horizontal (eye to the sky) to vertical position (eye to the side), or vice versa.
