A wide range of Shear units are available from Atkin Automation with widths as narrow as 6mm and up to 1500mm and gauges between 0.1mm to 8mm in various types of material. Shear units are available as a single unit for inclusion into customers’ existing equipment or to work in conjunction with a press to produce parts.
The blades can be powered by pneumatics, hydraulics or electrically. The action of the blades can be direct acting, power frame with separate shear tooling, or toggle action.
