Geared Model

The geared model incorporates a single reduction gear train, which provides a "mechanical advantage" allowing work to be done higher up the working stroke. This facility makes the Saxon geared model ideal for forming and deep drawing operations that are required. 

Ungeared Model

The Saxon ungeared model exerts its working force through a short distance near the bottom of the stroke. It is widely used in the pressing industry for blanking, piercing, notching, trimming, bending and shallow foming.
